Description

Instituto de Idiomas, Universidad del Norte, offers teaching positions. A full time position implies 48 working hours a week, 20 of which are teaching hours. The rest of hours are devoted to class preparation, student attention, attendance to teacher meetings, conversation club, cultural agenda and application of Placement and Proficiency exams. Teachers should have one course either on Saturday mornings, or in the evening during the week. Contract renewable depending on performance evaluation.

Qualifications

- M.A. in TESOL, Linguistics, Psychology, English, Elementary/Bilingual Education, or related areas.
- Must have certified experience teaching EFL, preferably outside country of origin.
- Must be a native English speaker.
- Be able to teach and evaluate students effectively.
- Have experience using language lab equipment.
